The Barbados Equestrian Experience (BEE) is a purpose-driven business that proudly includes many members of the Barbadian equestrian community. Our Manager and Main Host, Dr. Laura Smith, PhD, is an avid Barbadian equestrian and a dedicated advocate for animal welfare.
Laura has earned numerous regional and international medals representing Barbados, including a team bronze medal in Three-Day Eventing at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games.
Her passion for horses began at a young age, competing in local gymkhanas and scurries, and even working as an exercise jockey at the local racetrack during her teenage years. Today, she is dedicated to promoting all forms of equestrian sports in Barbados, ensuring they remain an integral part of the island’s sporting landscape.
As part of The Barbados Equestrian Experience’s (BEE) commitment to animal welfare in Barbados, a portion of the profits will support horse and animal charities in Barbados.
