With over 15 years’ experience in the equestrian and luxury leisure industries, Hayley has built a career grounded in horsemanship, hospitality and high-standard service. Growing up in Scotland, she was immersed in barn life from the age of three, developing a lifelong passion for horses that shaped her professional path.
Beginning as a working apprentice at a BHS dressage centre in Yorkshire England, Hayley quickly progressed through the ranks and by the age of 20 became Head Trainer at one of Manchester’s leading riding schools and jumping yards. From 3 clients she soon built and managed a busy schedule of more than 60 weekly clients, oversaw livery and horse sales and coached university equestrian teams while developing young competition horses.
Her career has since taken her internationally across the UK, Europe, Canada, California and the Caribbean, working within professional showjumping yards, elite competition grooming teams, and luxury equestrian tourism programmes. She has extensive experience curating tailored experiences that blend professionalism, discretion and a genuine connection.
Today, Hayley serves as Trainer and Host for The Barbados Equestrian Experience, where she helps deliver exceptional equestrian adventures for guests while also managing the company’s digital presence and marketing. Her passion for horse welfare, youth development and authentic island experiences continues to contribute to shaping the vision of the Barbados Equestrian Experience alongside Laura.
