Proof of International Travel Medical Insurance coverage is required for those participating in any of the 'Equestrian Horse Riding Activities' arranged by the Barbados Equestrian Experience owing to potential dangers associated with horse sports.

There are several international travel insurance companies that offer coverage for adventure sports including horse back riding activities. 

The Barbados Equestrian Experience does highly recommends International Medical Insurance to ALL participants whether choosing Equestrian Horse Riding Activities or other.
Most of our tours and experiences are designed as half-day experiences, typically lasting approximately 3 to 4 hours. However, durations may vary slightly depending on the activity and location.

Please note that certain experiences—such as the Island Tour, Polo Afternoon, and Race Day Excursions—are longer and usually run for approximately 5 hours. 

Exact timing will be confirmed in your itinerary.
To ensure your safety and comfort, please follow the recommended dress code based on the type of activity:

      Lessons (Including Dressage or Flatwork)
  • Helmet: Wearing a helmet is mandatory and you must bring your own.
  • Clothing: Wear long riding pants and tops with shoulders covered.
  • Footwear: Closed-toe riding boots (short or tall boots)
  • Gloves: Optional, but may improve grip and comfort.
      Beach & Trail Rides
  • Helmet: Wearing a helmet is mandatory. Some operators will provide helmets but we recommend bringing your own
  • Clothing:
    • Long pants (to protect your legs from chafing)
    • Closed-toe footwear – trainers or water shoes are acceptable
    • We recommend shoulders covered (for sun protection and safety)
We recommend bringing sunscreen, water, and a change of clothes for beach rides if you plan to swim after the excursion.
Our general BEE package includes five curated equestrian activities, seven nights of recommended accommodation (with three carefully selected options to choose from), and all transportation throughout your stay. 

Seasonal Variations from approximately US$2500 per person (based on 1 room double occupancy).

Please note that accommodation costs vary by season:
Off-Season: April 21st to December 20th
Peak Season: 21st December to April.

Final accommodation pricing will be confirmed at the time of booking and will depend season of travel, chosen property and room type. If you have different preferences, we’re happy to recommend alternative accommodation options that suit your style and budget.

Yes, a non-refundable booking fee of $250 USD (per guest) is paid at time of booking. This can be paid via bank wire transfer of via Fygaro.
Some activities are strictly for children aged 12 years and above. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a signing adult on all activities.

We will try our best to accomodate childrens' discounts with our suppliers where we can.
