Walking tour with insider's insight in to the horse racing industry in Barbados. This is a highlight of your Barbados Equestrian Experience led by the legendary Sean Hall.
Please note that it requires the ability to walk for an extended period, though a driven version can be arranged for those who may need it.
The tour begins with an early 6am departure from your hotel to observe local Thoroughbred racehorses during their swimming and water training session at a nearby beach. Following this, we will visit the historic Garrison Savannah, home to the Barbados Turf Club, where you may have the opportunity to watch horses train on both sand and grass tracks. Your host is the infamous Sean Hall - a former top jockey and racehorse trainer, who will provide valuable insight into the history of horse racing in Barbados. The tour will also discuss notable landmarks such as the Barbados Museum and George Washington House, where the first U.S. president stayed during his only visit outside of the United States.
