Professional Polo Lessons

Step into the exhilarating world of polo with a private lesson at one of Barbados’s premier Polo Clubs. This exclusive experience offers riders of all levels the chance to learn the sport of kings under the guidance of international-level polo players, surrounded by the lush beauty of the Barbadian countryside.

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive through the island, passing notable landmarks on your way to a top-tier international polo barn—an affiliate of the Barbados Polo Club. Here, you'll be paired with a well-trained, carefully selected polo pony on a dedicated training field. All essential polo gear, including helmets and mallets, will be provided, along with refreshing sports drinks to keep you cool.

Lessons are tailored to your riding level. Whether you're confidently cantering and ready to work on technique and game strategy, or simply want to experience the thrill of riding a pro Polo pony and practice hitting the ball, your instructor will guide you at your own pace.

Please note:

• Riders of all abilities are welcome

• Helmets will be provided and must be worn

•  We recommend bringing your own boots and chaps.

• Strict rider weight limit: 230 lbs (105kg)

Riding enthusiasts can also tailor their equestrian holiday around riding lessons, participating in dressage, jumping and Polo lessons daily for a more intensive "Riding clinic" experience in Barbados.
