Horse Photography Lessons

Photographing horses in motion - whether at a fast-paced polo match, the thrill of horse racing or the elegance of dressage and showjumping is more challenging than it may seem. Capturing the power, precision, and grace of equestrian sport requires skill, timing and a trained eye.

This is a unique opportunity for aspiring photographers to develop their craft through a hands-on lesson in the dynamic world of equestrian sport, right here in Barbados.

Join an experienced equine photographer for an immersive session, where you’ll learn key techniques during the early stages of an afternoon polo match, a day at the races, or a morning horse show. You’ll then have the chance to put your new skills into practice, with real-time feedback and tips to help you refine your work.

Our instructors include Alison Elliot and Raquel Stoute—two of Barbados' leading equestrian photographers, working with the Barbados Equestrian Association and the Barbados Turf Club, respectively. They are excited to share their knowledge and experience with guests as part of our equestrian experiences.
