the Barbados Equestrian Association

Elevating Equestrian Excellence

Established in the 1970s, the Barbados Equestrian Association (BEA) is the premier governing body for equestrian sports in Barbados. It was founded following the dissolution of the Barbados Show Jumping Federation, with Sir Denys William serving as its first president.

The BEA is affiliated with the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI) and the Caribbean Equestrian Association (CEA). It organizes and supports a range of competitions, including the FEI World Dressage and Jumping Challenges, and the CEA Junior Jumping Challenge.

The association is also committed to developing local talent, with Barbados being represented at various international competitions, including the Pan American Games and the Central American and Caribbean Games.

As an affiliate, we collaborate with the BEA to offer our guests authentic and professionally curated equestrian experiences, from dressage and show jumping to eventing
